JACOB MAXWELL

Jacob wanted his own christmas tree this year

we had a ball going and cutting down our tree.

This has become our yearly tradition.

Jacob******What can I say about Jacob. I can't imagine my life without him. I say that because I almost didn't have him. I am so grateful for the inspiration that comes when you listen....I would know he was missing if I hadn't had him. He is such a joy so full of fun and life. He loves to play with his cousin Scotty every chance he gets. (Literally) He is almost 8 and will be my last child to be baptized. I can't believe that! He still says a lot of funny things and I am so glad I still have a little boy around. I had him on my lap this morning and I was hugging on him and kissing on him and nibbling his arm and he was just giggling and is still okay with mom being affectionate to him. That usually goes away around 10-11 with boys and then returns again around 16 at least that has been my experience with Nick. Jacob loves fishing he has always loved it and even had a chance to be the only one on a boat in Hawaii that caught a fish. I am the luckiest mom in the world!!
He recently wrote a paper at school about his grandpa that said, "My Grandpa is my hero!" "He fought in the war and helped people"" My grandpa is my hero because he is kind and is nice and important to me." I am grateful he has good grandparents that he can call his heroes.

Wow what would we do without Jake! Scotty would be so lonely, I'm just sure those to had it all planned out it Heaven! They are just like brothers and best friends and cousins all at the same time. What a blessing he is to our family too!
