It's Autum Time it's Autum Time the leaves are falling down.....
This picture was taken about 4 years ago one afternoon at our home on Filbert Ave....We had so many good years there and on that particular day it was the perfect photo op...The kids and I were raking the yard to surprise dad so he wouldn't have to do it when of course it turned in to an all out leaf war.. I remeber that day and it was such a fun memory that I wanted to share....

The Start of School and Fall always brings about a lot of fun!
I love the change of season when the leaves start to change and the
crispness of the air. It feels like a fresh start.....and lets face it,
who couldn't use a fresh start once in a while!
I am excited for this time of year even with all the business that comes with it and all the fun. I look forward to wonderful memories that will be made during the next few months.
I love all the traditions that we have and all the fun...I am so grateful for my life and all the hidden treasures that I keep finding....all through different experiences that I go through. I am trying as President Monson the Prophet of my church said recently, to enjoy the Journey! All of the Journey...I am trying to find those hidden treasures that come even in hard times when they are harder to see but they are there and they are helping me to learn valuable lessons and helping me to grow. I am thankful...I am blessed....
I am blessed with a beautiful life.........

I Blinked....Time passed.....So Fast....Too Fast
When you are a young mother you think that time is going on forever. You will never be done with diapers, you will never have a minute to yourself, the laundry will never be done, (in my case it still never is) But wow, when I came across this picture It seems like yesterday and yet, it has been 7 years since that picture was taken. Seven years of good, happy, sad, fun, not so fun, more fun years. I miss those days in some ways and am glad to just have the memories in other ways. I am rambling...But, it occures to me over and over how fast time goes and how life here on this earth is so short. I know I need to look for the JOY and to find those JOYFUL momments in everyday.
My oldest, Nick, Seems like he just went to Kindergarted and I cried that day as I dropped him off. Now I cry thinking about him starting college and preparing to go on a mission for our church for 2 years. He is such a wonderful Son. I am a proud mama of all my children...They are what keeps me going...They set me such wonderful examples...They are my Past...Present...and I am so thankful to say my future...

What an amazing experience the pioneer trek was. I was assigned such great young men and women to be in my family. Unity was quickly formed! I was so proud of them! My Faith in our beliefs have grown ten fold! I know my Pioneer Heritage was based on the knowledge they had that Jesus Chrit is our Lord and Savior! They knew the church was restored! There is no possible way they would have or could have continued day after day in the manner of travel they had to, and willingly endured, had they not known without a doubt what they believed to be true! They knew if they endured and they kept their faith that they would finally come to a place where they could find peace from the persecutions that they faced having been driven from their homes because of the beliefs that they would not deny! If you want to know more about our LDS heritage or our beliefs please visit www.lds.org for more information.

19 years ago today we took off to Lake Tahoe and got married for Time but promised we would be together for all eternity.......19 years is good start. We were sealed a year later in the Manti Temple in Utah. Our promise kept! I like this picture because this past year has had a lot of clouds for us but you can see the sun starting to shine through and that is how I feel now. I feel like the sun is starting to shine through the clouds for us again. Through all the clouds and rain we always manage to stick together. We are united. We are best friends, we laugh a lot, we play a lot and we share all good and bad together. We hang on when we feel like we can't anymore and that is what commitment and marriage is......... I am so blessed to share my life with this man. He loves me no matter what and I am the same with him....No matter what we love eachother and that is truly all that matters............. Happy Anniversary.

It has been such a busy month I don't even no where to begin...We had Senior Ball, Rock and Roll Show for Emily, High School Graduation, Seminary Graduation, 6th Grade Graduation, 4th Level Hike for Girls Camp Camp for Maddie, I passed my 80 words per minute at School which puts me going for my 100s, Twighlight Camp for Jacob. Getting ready for a week at girls Camp and the Pioneer Trek that Mark and I and Nick and Maddie will attened in July. Does that sound like enough???
All good things and lots of fun just so busy. Oh and last not but not least a smidgeon of Ice Cream eating HA HA!
Life is Busy and fun. I am blessed as always and grateful for the many wonderful experiences I am blessed to have as a mother. These are the days you dream about as a young girl when you are thinking about being a mother. Not the mounds of Laundry or the sassy mouths or the worry of making sure your teenagers are okay. However that is part of the satisfaction as you see that they are making good choices and are doing their best to do what is right. Many times my children, all my children but especially my teenagers have been such great examples to me. They have Faith they Believe, they are amazing in the convictions they have about being Strong and immovable in this world where it can be very easy to be swayed.
LIFE IS WONDERFUL....WE ARE BLESSED......I AM GRATEFUL.................

JACOB'S BIRTHDAY
We had a speaker at church on Sunday who told us we need to ASK ourselves the RIGHT questions. So I am asking RIGHT now, where has the time gone? It seems like just last week that I was pregnant in the hospital waiting to bring one more SPIRIT into this life. He came easier than the rest and the JOY I felt at his birth was IMEASURABLE! He has continued to bring JOY to my life everyday. He is so fun and sweet and adorable. Today on the day of his birth I am HONORED to be his mother. I am THANKFUL to my Heavenly Father for loaning his PRECIOUS SPIRIT to me. I PRAY I can measure up to the task of rasing him. I think of this question "WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE" often. When I look back I REALIZE how short our time here is. "Life Can Change with every BREATH we take." Another LESSON LEARNED..........One I appreciate so that I can remeber to be PRESENT in my life now and ENJOY AND LOVE each moment and the GIFT that might be very obvious or may be HIDDEN there.

Lessons Learned.........
I love this song.....It sums up a lot I have felt lately. Yesterday watching General Conference, I learned more lessons again. I was reminded again how we have to be careful how much we judge someone......we don't always know the circumstances that bring people to where they are in their life. It's so easy to assume you know......trust me.....you usually don't know........My perceptions have changed many times when I have learned all three sides of a story.
